Nick Stone, Book 3: The set-pieces are expertly written and madly exciting. I’m pretty confident the author will outgrow thi Like “The Martian” it seems to have been written backwards to allow the hero to just barely succeed at overwhelming odds, using improvised materials. As well as several non-fiction bestsellers including Bravo Two Zero, the biggest selling British work of military history, he is the author of the best-selling Nick Stone and Tom Buckingham thrillers.
Furthermore, it is cleat that McNab is only writing what he knows about. Deceit, betrayal at it’s best! The only thing I would mention, once again, is that the stories continue in sequential episodes of Nick Stone’s life.

McNab I look forward to reading all your books! This is simply an operations book of detailed miserable minutia, that drags on for pages past it’s first climax, where the book should have ended.
